Every time I hear the word “innovative” I want to throat-punch someone.
The words I want to hear are “effective”, “sustainable”, “practical,” and “impactful.”
I could not give a flying flabber if your idea is all brand spanking new, I want to know that it WORKS and CAN BE DONE.
In my years in the #changemaker biz, I have seen so many bullshit “innovative” schemes come and go, I cannot even begin to count them all.
If it is innovative, in ADDITION to those others, that is fine, but that should be the last adjective you use for it, not the first. via Facebook
